1: What was the initial draw that caused you to volunteer? Patriotism, family, personal reasons?

2: On which fronts were you involved with, and with noticing the differences was there any real difference between fighting in the different areas.

3: Was there ever a time when you completely lost all hope? IF so how did you manage to carry on?

4: Was there any time while in service that you found the military life enjoyable? What was the best position to have on the front?

5: Who in the end, do you think benefited from the war? Do you think that the war solved anthing?
